Weekly Featured Franchise is an event that occurs every week.  Our staff here at VSN selects what they believe is the best franchise currently running on the forum.  A franchise is a thread that is used by a member to report his/her franchise report from a video game.

Why did you choose the team you are using?

On SportsGamer I had a pretty successful chise using Notre Dame on NCAA 09, so I thought I’d go for it again. I love Notre Dame, so it made it a no-brainer. Also, whenever I do a chise with another team I get bored, but using my favorite team makes it easy for it to continue.

Most memorable game/play so far in your franchise?

My most memorable game was against TCU in my second season. I went undefeated and wont he national champtionship, but that game went down to the wire and I almost lost. My favorite play was during my first season in the last game of the year against Stanford. I returned a kickoff back for touchdown and it was just amazing. Go into the thread and check it out. 

What stands out in your franchise compared to others?

Well, I’d say that it is because it’s one of the longest running NCAA franchise on the boards right now. I started it this past June, and I don’t plan on ending it until NCAA 11 comes out. I’m hoping to get to season 6 or 7, but we’ll see how it all plays out. Once summer rolls around I’ll be getting tons more updates in at a time.

How do you feel about the team (the franchise team you are using) in real life?

I have an undying love for them. <3 Notre Dame <3

What made you start chising?

A couple years ago, I was searching for something about NCAA football and came across Matt10’s BYU dynasty. And I mean this was a long time back. He he had ESPN layouts that looked so real that I actually thought (I was young, okay?) that ESPN was reporting a dynasty for him. Eventually (about 1 year later) I searched for this dynasty again and found it, and I realized he was making this thing. I thought it looked awesome and like a ton of fun so I started chising on SG, the board where I found his dynasty. I’ve been reporting dynasties for about 2 and a half years now. I remember my first day like it was yesterday!

What’s your favorite part of VSN?

I love everybody making fun of each other. Nothing makes my day better than coming to the forums and finding a 15 page thread where someone is getting hammered. I just love the total environment and I’ll probably stay here as long as its open.

What would you change about VSN?

Right now, nothing. After all the changes after Gambino left, I think everythings alright. But they should allow noodz.

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?

I’m actually pretty smart, and I have a 3.86 GPA and plan on attending Notre Dame. When I graduate, I’ll have 38 college credits because of the classes I’m taking, and I want to major in broadcast journalism. I think that chising actually helps me, because expierence writing articles can help me in the future. Even if it’s just about a video game.

Who is your favorite user?

I couldn’t really chose one. I love Woy and Argath brings the lulz…I taught Potatoes to VSN and now he’s better than me (see seeding for March Madness), Bomberooski’s podcast is amazing. But I love everyone who doesn’t get their butthurt when they get made fun of.

What other franchises do you follow?
I follow everyone’s in the NCAA section, although I don’t always post. Sometimes I venture out of the NCAA section but not often. I usually start to follow the chise that wins WFF, too.

Favorite video game(s) to play?

Pretty much any sports game and Call of Duty.
